One Shot, One Take.

The Met Gala is a relay race; an exercise in cooperation. Unlike any photoshoot, you are not in control of the media and there is no reshoot. Shooting BTS for Pat Mcgrath and 111 Skin, I was vigilant in capturing BTS content as athlete Chloe Kim got ready for the evening.

My choice to shoot on film evoked the intimacy of what it feels like to be in the room of a gala attendee at the Mark Hotel. In addition, I secured shortform “TikTok” style videos for the client, which was reshared by Chloe’s fans and sports media outlets.
